The New River has been low and clear most of the spring and fishing conditions have been optimal.
Catches have been on and off from day to day but the 'on' days have produced some some nice quality "fat" 15" to 18" fish. With no shortage of food in the water the fish are being selective. Good casts and presentations make the difference between a good day and a long day.
